About bronze & your skin

Bronze is a living metal. It can leave a green or dark mark on your skin through a natural process called oxidation. This is the same reaction that turned the Statue of Liberty green over time.

This is completely normal, harmless, and washes off easily with soap and water.

The clear nail polish trick: Apply a thin coat of clear nail polish to the inside of your ring. This creates an invisible barrier between the bronze and your skin. Reapply every few weeks as it wears off.

Legio IIII Flavia Felix, known as the Fourth Flavian Lucky Legion, was renowned not just for its martial prowess but also for a remarkable twist of fate during a particularly perilous campaign.

In the heat of battle against a formidable enemy, their commander, Lucius Aelius Maximus, fell in combat, leaving the legion in a dire situation. Blinded by the storm, the enemy forces faltered, allowing Legio IIII Flavia Felix to regroup and strike back with a renewed vigor. With their backs against the wall, the legion fought with an unshakeable determination, guided by a sense of destiny.

Miraculously, the sandstorm not only shielded them but also disoriented their adversaries. The legion emerged victorious from the tempest, and their triumph was celebrated as a divine intervention. They came to be known as the "Lucky Fourth" for their fortuitous escape from what seemed like certain defeat.

The legacy of Legio IIII Flavia Felix endured, not only for their remarkable military achievements but also for the belief that destiny had intervened on their behalf that fateful day in the heart of the storm.
