Material

Bronze · approximately 15–20 g, depending on size.

Bronze can naturally leave green marks on your skin. This discoloration is non-toxic and results from the metal reacting with your skin’s natural oils and moisture. How much it appears varies from person to person.

Material care

A thin coat of clear nail polish inside the band can help reduce these marks.

Legio III Italica, known as the Third Italian Legion, had a storied history of service to the Roman Empire. But one campaign, in particular, would forever etch their name into the annals of Roman military glory.

In the early days of the 2nd century AD, the Roman Empire faced a grave threat along its eastern borders. The Parthian Empire, a formidable adversary known for its skilled cavalry and archers, sought to expand its influence into Roman-controlled territories.

Emperor Trajan, a skilled military strategist, called upon Legio III Italica to spearhead the campaign. Under the leadership of their formidable commander, General Titus Aelius Hadrianus, the legion embarked on a perilous journey into the heart of Parthia.

The campaign was marked by brutal desert warfare, as the legion battled not only the Parthian forces but also the harsh elements of the arid landscape. The legion's unwavering discipline, extensive training, and unbreakable cohesion were on full display as they pushed deeper into enemy territory.

In a climactic battle near the city of Ctesiphon, Legio III Italica faced overwhelming odds. Surrounded by Parthian forces, they fought valiantly, refusing to yield even as their ranks were thinned. General Hadrianus himself led the charge, rallying his troops with unwavering resolve.
