About bronze & your skin

Bronze is a living metal. It can leave a green or dark mark on your skin through a natural process called oxidation. This is the same reaction that turned the Statue of Liberty green over time.

This is completely normal, harmless, and washes off easily with soap and water.

The clear nail polish trick: Apply a thin coat of clear nail polish to the inside of your ring. This creates an invisible barrier between the bronze and your skin. Reapply every few weeks as it wears off.

DESIGN

The cross was hand made out of the highest quality bronze/silver material. Made to pay homage to the style using the original method used in crafting it centuries ago. Made to look like an antique.

As every cross is hand made they all differ from one another slightly.

 

STORY

The Celtic cross is a form of Christian cross featuring a nimbus or ring that emerged in Ireland, France and Britain in the Early Middle Ages. A type of ringed cross, it became widespread through its use in the stone high crosses erected across the islands, especially in regions evangelized by Irish missionaries, from the 9th through the 12th centuries.
